Taking home the gold!

Mon ,12/07/2010

JB GlossingerI am back in Colombia again loving life but I wanted to do a quick post on the 4th of July. I was home in LaPorte Indiana and decided to run in our 5K. I did not train for the running just decided to run. The cool thing was I finished in 21:06. Did not hit my goal of 20:00 minutes but I did finish 11th overall and won the over 41 division. I also beat everyone over 30 so that was cool!

Will fill you in as we progress here in Bogota!

Pull Ups – HaganaH Combat Fitness Certification

Wed ,10/03/2010

Working hard for the Combat Fitness Certification April 10 – 11th at HaganaH HQ! Trying to get my pull up count back in the 20′s. My shoulder hurt me but I have 30 days to rock and roll. I have set a goal of 165LB’s and be ready to rock and roll for the certification.

The end of the month I go for my HaganaH Instructor Certification I can’t wait for that. I am still hitting hard. My schedule is 6 days a week of training of various types, combat fitness, muay thai, and haganah… Plus kickboxing, boxing, combat wrestling, ground survival. A LOT of training but it is amazing!

Well back to work, ready to keep moving forward!!!

Training Muay Thai with Master Tran!

Sun ,07/03/2010

Had an amazing night Friday night training in Muay That with Master Tran. He is an amazing guy with awesome energy. I also had the opportunity to partner with Vu Tran and work some drills. In the few hours that we where training I learned a lot of new techniques and found a passion for Muay Thai! I even learned how to bow properly!! Thank you Master Tran :)

My next step in learning more Muay Thai will be to head out to Denver to train with Master Tran at his school. I have been so blessed to meet so many people through Mike Lee Kanarek’s HaganaH system. I love the fact he wants us to cross-train and get more experience in what fits us. AJ and John Clarke who also there and working hard as both of them are preparing for upcoming fights.

Amazing night of training. If you get a chance stop by Master Tran’s blog – http://www.thetransformationcoachblog.com

Saturday, I went back to the HaganaH HQ and had a great combat fitness lead by Chris Kisslan and Larry Cott. Right now I am about 100% and feeling in amazing shape!

Have an amazing weekend, every day I get closer to my goal!

Amazing training today

Thu ,17/12/2009

Today I had a private workout with MLK still working on defense and I tool close to 1000 punches. I still have to work on getting tighter and bringing my elbows in but awesome workout. I then went to Black Fin Muay Thai Kickboxing and I am getting better that is for sure. NO black eye this week, but still have a long way to go. Jay and Larry who I will detail later on here and really helping and I am getting more aggressive.

I can’t wait for my new headgear to get here! I also picked up some Serious Mass and will be adding it to my nutritional list. I am drinking 1 1200 calorie shake a day in addition to everything else trying to break through 160 lbs. I will get some more pictures and videos up soon!

Tomorrow, 3 workouts. In the AM I am working out back at the gym and then I have HaganaH at 10:30 and finally hitting Combat Fitness a 8PM. Life is good!

I will get some reviews and other FUN things up here, because I am sure you just don’t want to hear about my progress! LOL

I did find out I am in for FIGHT instructor certification APRIL 22 – 25th Pretty pumped about that!

Tough Muay Thai Class tonight

Tue ,15/12/2009

Had a pretty tough class tonight, worked on some combos with Thai pads and focus mitts. Great workout and got some work done. Still not gaining weight still around 155. May have to add a weight gainer to the mix for the calories.

Tomorrow 3 workouts with morning being chest, mid-day HaganaH, and will end it at 8PM with Combat Fitness.

Hopefully new headgear will be in by Wed Sparring if not I will have to use the title for now. I have some supplement reviews and equipment reviews coming soon so check back or subscribe to the feed! Thank everyone!!

OH NO – black eye time

Thu ,10/12/2009

Well another morning after a late night of sparring, had a good one last night but got popped sometime and ended up with a black eye. I have drill more defense and I am also looking at changing headgear to Winning from Japan it is supposed to be amazing!

Weigh in was at 155, I am still having trouble gaining weight with all the work we are doing. I have to increase my caloric input and eat, eat, eat.

Today, I have HaganaH and tonight Combat Fitness. I am going to stay away from the gym today, so only 2 workouts. In HaganaH we are doing Knife defense straight stab.

Going to be an amazing day!
